Davis- Great saves, kept a clean sheet. Couldn't ask for anymore. Richardson- Machine, bombing on forward and solid at the back. Fox- Best game so far, quality crosses and passing, yes he mis-placed a pass but no thanks to Mr Lambert so I'll let him off that one. Hooiveld- Brilliant, nothing gets past him, won well in the air and floor and if he carries on like this I would happily want him to sign permantly. Fonte- Good game, made a couple of errors in first half but dealt with Iwelumo very well when he came on. De Ridder- Decent, had the pace on the full back just unfortunate he didn't get the right pass to him. Great when turning inside though, really opens everything up! Lallana- Soooo unlucky with his shot, another great performance, makes everything tick and that touch in the 1st half was disgustingly good!! Cork- Battled well, broke up play, got forward and played some good balls. Top Player. Hammond- The engine of the team, keeps working hard and never gives up. Guly- Great finish, always comes up with goods, work rate was excellent espcially in the last 15 mins. Lambert- All round top game, won in the air, great inter-play, won both pens and converted. Mr Goalscorer!! Subs: Chaplow- Such a good impact player, really makes a difference when he comes on, unlucky not to score. Schneiderlin- Did his job, played the easy ball and found the gaps to open the Watford defence up. May have ended up with a goal with a little bit more luck. Holmes- So happy for him, really glad to see him on bench and then what a way to start the league campaign for him!! Great finish.
True, but that is just what it is, opinions to which they are entitled, I have no problem with that, puts things into perspective.

That was mainly because the Watford game plan was working, that went wrong when we got the Penalty, they didn't have a Plan B and paid the penalty.
You are right, but I just get rattled by daft statements and really can't stand fans thy get on at a player after 4 games.
Cant believe people are giving Lallana 8's and 9's. He wasn't that good he looked tired, he wasn't really all there in my opinion. Guly MOTM - you can't be serious. Cork was MOTM. with frazer just behind him.
The trouble with being a player like Lallana is that you are first on the team sheet and don't get a break until you're injured. This natural gap in the season will be good for the team.
I must admit that I had some doubts when we first signed him but so far every game I've been to he's been a revelation. I'm sure Adkins will want to take him on permanently..
Jos himself doesn't know what will happen in January. If he looks too good, I think Celtic will want him back.

They all played very well second half but i actually thought we looked nervy early on and to begin with Watford looked lively andconsider that was the first defeat for them away from home.For me Guly Richardson Ricky and the combative and energetic Chappers stood out when he came on he always offers a goal threat with his positive runs from midfield cant believe Fergies charismatic son didnt like him at Preston
Well said that man........We must all remember that we all have opinions.............Some are to say the least, outrageous at times....however they are an opinion and should be respected as such. The discussion should be about persuading those you disagree with, that their opinion is hard to believe and offering an alternative. Criticizing someone who is at least offering an opinion is totally out of order. That is what Forums like this are designed for...........
