Trust me, he wouldn't worry me
When he puts 100% in for the whole game more often I will recognise it with praise (like he did against Spurs because he got angry with Dier)

 

Does anyone know if Carillo is available to play in this one? I spoke to my Dad on the phone last night and he said that he had read something about needing to be registered 5 days before being able to play in a cup match. He couldn't remember where he read it, and neither of us know the rules so werent sure if thats true or not.

 

Seems the same as the league, this is from The FA cup competition rules

“Any such registration must have been received and accepted by The Association or League by 12 noon on the Friday previous to the date fixed for playing the Round, and the registration must be continuous through to the date of the match.”

Boufal pleeeeeeaaaaasssssseeeee

 

I like Boufal as much as the next guy but i am starting to wonder what he brings to the party. Does he actually provide assists or score goals (wonder goals not included) I know he's very direct and scares defenders but he usually ends up trying one trick to many and losing the ball. I have defended him in the past to my mates who really don't rate him but i'm starting to actually think that maybe he should be doing more than looking good on the ball.

 

He's a player that is brave and will take responsibility to keep trying to create, now he may "lose" the ball more than most players do in a match, but he is much more liable to make a chance as well. A team is a balance, as Lawrie Mac says, you need roadsweepers and violin players...Boufal is definately one of the latter.

 

That's always been my argument, and like i said he is our most direct player and he does work hard, it's just that he misses an end product and i'm not sure if he's been directly involved in any goals this season excluding the worldies.

 

He has been involved in the build up for quite a few goals, usually after a nice bit of skill. He needs an extended run in the team to build his confidence and understanding with his teamates. Had he had the opportunities that Tadic has had i'm sure that he would be more effective, but that is just my opinion.

 

I know what your saying and i like many were saying he needs a run of 6+ games which i think he was given, in those games he was pretty ineffective, mind you saying that so were the whole team so probably not a fair judgement.

 

Tadic has been very hot and cold for two seasons now, but always gets selected, Boufal has had nowhere near the same privilege.
