Presume that may mean Chung on the bench then? Good news if so.

    Or maybe not!

    [h=1]Triple absence woe for Adkins[/h]Southampton, 14:24, October 26, 2012

Record signing Gaston Ramirez, Jack Cork and Tadanari Lee are again set to be missing ahead of Southampton's visit of Tottenham.
Saints boss Nigel Adkins confirmed a week ago that 21-year-old Uruguayan international, Ramirez, is set to be absent for a month because of problems related to a dead leg, picked up before the international break earlier this month.
Cork and Lee are making steady progress in their recovery from knee and wrist injuries respectively, but it looks like the Spurs clash at St Mary's on Sunday will come just too soon.
Frazer Richardson will have his thigh strain assessed ahead of the game and could be in line to feature, while Poland international goalkeeper Artur Boruc will hope to get the nod between the sticks despite playing in last week's 4-1 drubbing at West Ham.
The Saints have only won one of their first eight matches and will hope to pick up three points to ease the growing pressure on Adkins.

I think he might make an excellent Butler and could do an after dinner speech.

The pressure is on the team, this team has been with Adkins through thick and thin and its about time they gave something back in this league.

They have the ability and belief, they need to respect thier opponents but go out there and go for the scruff of the neck.

We can beat anyone in this league, we need to start showing them why Adkins got us here and Sunday is a good place to start.

Fortress St Marys needs to return and cast the shadow it used to cast.

Saints for a win on Sunday. nothing less.

Spurs fans seem abit concerned, they seem to have real problems in thier defence esp with Walker and Gallas, and the midfield is abit light(strange as they have Huddlestone :p) they are weak where we are strong and vis versa, so should be a ding dong. Also are the clocks going back on Saturday as 3pm games are normally on TV here at 9am, but Sundays game is on at 10am ?

Duracell batteries I'm sure! Nigel was always going to come back firing on all cylinders, let's hope the team do the same.

Don't know how he does it, I'm feeling more positive about the weekend after seeing that interview! It has to be good for the players having someone that upbeat in charge.

Looks like Richardson might be back. Funny as I have seen plenty of smart arses correcting people's teams for this game saying he is out on no real basis. When a player is doubtful and no one knows if he's out or not then let it be.

Having Richardson back would be a major result for us. It's funny because at the start of the season I don't think many people had him down as figuring very much during this campaign, myself included. I didn't however realise Clyne could play down the left, or have a full understanding of how bad Fox was going to be.

I don't think many will argue that. Clyne-Yoshida-Fonte-Richardson isn't our strongest defensive lineup currently available.
