Every previous time this season, the stars “seemed” to have aligned, we fell flat on our face; AFCB & Wolves come to mind. They were both away. I wonder? I’m torn tbh. I always want Saints to win but I just cannot see any short nor long term positives staying with RM & I want out. Win tho & he’s here till next year, that’s a definite.
I’m with you. I will always want Saints to win, no matter who is in the dug out. But this is a must win not just for RM but as Southampton Football Club as a whole. Spurs have some really key players missing, have just had a really tough physical game last night, so this has to be, surely, last chance saloon for RM.
I think that is easy for us all to imagine. My bet is on a misplaced pass 25 yards from out goal. Normally works for us
No surprise that just before an important game. the Press come up with a Dibling Contract story in an attempt to cause an upset?
Nothing that hasn’t already been said, but **** this kick off time. Had to put my tickets on the ticket exchange for this one. Between the time, the rail issues around Woking and work on Monday morning, it was dead in the water
The game obviously has to be played on Sunday with Spurs playing on Thursday, but what's wrong with a midday kick off, before the Sky games? Just a massive **** you to the fans.
I'm not going. Nothing to do with transport, I've got the day off Monday and whilst the time could be better it's not the be all and end all. I'm not going because I'm bored to death of Russ ball.
Spurs fans (assuming that they live in North London) will either drive down, fill loads of coaches, or arrive early and stay overnight. Whichever scenario is most likely, I expect to hear that well known Spurs anthem "Oh when the Whites" from all sides of St Marys on Sunday, before, during and after the game. Unless we win, of course.
Could this be the game where we lose 4-0 and the winning manager gets sacked to the soundtrack of “Praise The Brave” I used to love the Spurs chant of “We’re **** and we’re sick of it “. Think we should adopt it.
