Have to say I twitched when Adkins mentioned in his press conference how well Shaw has done to play 3 games in a week...then added that we have to look after him. Amazing that we have begun to worry about whether a 17-yr-old can play.
if you read his stats, wingers are having a hard time getting past him, and even if they do then he has the speed to get back http://sfcplayerstats.wordpress.com/2012/11/29/player-analysis-luke-shaw/
If the PL decided tomorrow to switch to his table over the real one, I wouldn't complain. Someone ought to tell him that we have a decent attack, though; he has predicted 18 points through 15 games, but with only 13 goals scored!
Don't see us winning this. Too much pressure and that pressure will show. 2-0 defeat... Repeat of Wigan...!
That's okay, every day in the window when RLGB predicted news there was none, and he kept predicting other things that never happened on tens of occasions. 3-1 Saints
RLGB you need to listen to Nigel's interviews several times and get with the positivity! Let's beat Reading and spend xmas out of the bottom 3!
I think we've had a stroke of luck for this game. Reading have a game 3 days later whereas we don't have a game for 2 weeks after this so we don't need to worry about resting players.
I don't have SaintsPlayer, wish I did. Only ever hear his interview via Solent Sport. It's easy saying you've had a good positive week if training, but if you can't transfer that energy on the pitch then it isn't worth it. How many times did Hughes say then had a good weeks training with QPR... Speaking if which, no joke, I had a dream in the early hours of this morning that they lost 8-0 .....but....to Fulham!
There's more on Reading in a way. 2 games that they need points out of in the next few days. If they lose both they will be cut adrift.
I'm out with the missus all day today to celebrate her birthday, going to try and avoid finding out the score until match of the day! Easier said that done these days! Will miss checking the forum during the match though COYS!
