Only know he was supposed to be at a signing in West Quay but cancelled due to family reasons...believe he left the country.
Damn, was starting to feel a little optimistic recently, thats something we don't need. Hope he's alright......back tracking from my selfishness.
^ This How the hell have I not heard about this, must re-double my efforts as a Saints fanatic. I'm nervous about this match, when they beat us at home last year it was my worst moment of the season (or Blackpool, but at least that was away). Don't be fooled by Reading, although I don't think they are as good as us, they do seem to click for moments and are dangerous. Sort of like an angry drunk hobo taking a swing at you, shouldn't be a concern, but if it connects? You don't put 3 past Utd or beat Everton by being utter mugs, they are showing signs of improvement.

Some massive games coming up for 17th 18th & 19th placed clubs. Sunderland v Chelsea Saints v Reading Then the game in hand Sunderland v Reading The the following Sat Saints v Sunderland Squeaky bum time,..,..
Gastón back in Uruguay after a family bereavement. I imagine he intends to be back for the game but is going to miss most of training this week.however some things are more important than football and if we can't beat Reading without Gastón then we may as well just go home now.
I think we will win this one but can see it being a high scoring game. Neither side appears to be able to defend and both have scored against the top teams. Looks like it will be a high scoring end to end match. So I'll go for 1-0 Saints then!!
With you on this DTLW! Being realistic how many players would you swap, not many. We should win this fixture 9 times out of 10!
Let's hope we don't lead with the chin, like Man Utd did. Reading are quite capable of pissing on our new shoes if we don't keep our wits about us, but if we're on our toes they'll be the ones lying in a crumpled heap at the end of the night.
Pavel Pogbrynak and Danny Guthrie have both been injured in a behing closed doors friendly against Stevenage.
When you don't have a large squad why would you run the risk and play a behind doors friendly?! Serves BM right!
More like gamesmanship. He's had trouble with both these two in recent weeks, so this just takes the heat off him selecting them for the team/squad. I reckon Pog will be on the bench.
I think they will set up in the exact same way they did last time. Defend, defend, defend, soak up the pressure and then hit us on the break. They were very good at it last year, but hopefully it won't work against us twice.
Really? I don't think so. 6 yes, but 9. Even Man Utd wouldn't win 9. And we are not Man Utd. Remember our game on Saturday?
