Shoulder injury I believe. SKD did a good job today...calm at the back which must have given the defence some confidence. Does show that Adkins does not rate Boruc except as a third choice keeper.
Have to say when I saw Boruc in the warm up before the game I noticed he has lost a fair bit of weight, looks a hell of a lot more athletic.
Or he had been called up late due to Gazza's injury and was in a hurry. Mustn't make a villain of him.
Does the sub Keeper normally train at Half time? i dont think i ever pay much attention to the half time warm up
seems strange that the keeper would need to train at half time, as there unlikely to be used and dont really need to keep their muscles warm.
The substitute goalkeeper always seems to warm up with the other subs at half time - Kelvin certainly always does.

Just watched the disallowed Puncheon goal on Sky, four replays and no sign of any infringement by a Saints player, they seem to think Yosh was possibly impeding the GK but it isn't obvious.
If these things even themselves out over the season.......then we are in for a bloody luck ridden second half of the season. (that or we've seen some really poor refs so far)

Boruc came on a bit later but def trained with the subs at half time. Have just seen the puncheon corner and cant believe that was disallowed what on earth did the ref see? Why didnt the saints palyers contest the dumbass decision?
Because the players are no more omniscient than the ref. For them to contest the decision would have been dishonest, even though they'd have been right.
