On Saints Player NA said it was Ben Reeves and it was a good goal, he also said that Ben was fresh of breath air so how much credence can we put into that?
Was at the game - my ratings Bart - 7 - Some great saves that kept us in it but atrocious kicking, surely this can be improved Richardson - 6 - Not his best game, something lacking since return from injury, poor crossing Fonte - 7 - Solid as usual Martin - 6 - Made a couple of bad errors, was under pressure at times Harding - 4 - Am a Harding fan but got beaten with regular monotony De Ridder - 5 - Looked lively but again no end product Chaplow - 5 - Not a central midfielder and was off the pace, with more games he will improve Hammond - 6 - Drove forward well but not so good defensively exposing our back four Lallana - 7 - Got equaliser at an important time and his tricks are back, went missing at times in 2nd half though Guly - 5 - One good header but anonymous the rest of the time apart from fouling Lee - 6 - Lively but missed one very good chance. Making good runs but not utilised at the mo due to our tippy tappy build up play Subs :- Lambert - 7 - Very steady when he came on, a class act Reeves - 7 - Sprayed some lovely passes around, the best I've seen him play Barnard - Not on long enough De Ridder going off through injury was an important turning point and was fully exploited by a Millwall side who never gave up, I believe they wanted it more. It's always disappointing to lose from a winning position but we didn't want extra time and we have players to come back in, we need to start winning games again fast though ONWARDS AND UPWARDS COYS
