    The moment I saw that City team, I said that Long and Mane could have a field day. Shocking CBs coupled with full backs who'll leave acres of space to counter them. Very similar to how Leicester beat them at the Etihad.

    But even I never expected us to hurt them quite that much (or them to be quite that bad).

    (Ever so slightly concerning that Jay looked knackered from the moment he came on - but given what had gone on in the game to that point, it was more comical than worrying)

    I know Sadio got 3 good goals,, but, for me (and, apparently, Thierry) I would say Shane was MOTM today. He was awesome - everywhere (even chased back a couple of times to dispossess their players), scored a great goal and pulled their defence all over the place.
    Please do it again next Saturday Shane!!

    I wouldn't even rank it in the top three passes of the first half.

    Both of Tadic's assists and Martina's ball over the top were better.

    Don't let a weakened Citeh team take anything away from Saints, they still probably cost more than us!.
    We were brilliant today from the kick off and should've probably led 4-1 at HT. Shane and Sadio's form is a bloody revelation with their pace and movement and with Dusan pulling the strings, it's a lethal combination. Steven Davis was great today too and we can beat anyone when we play like that.
    A brilliant day for the club and fans all round with past legends in attendance, can't wait for SKD's testimonial!.

    Just got in from the match - just spent 5 wasted minutes trying to convince my wife that large portions of the crowd singing " you're just a **** Fraser Forster" to Joe Hart was funny, as was the 4 year old kid next to me who joined in with it, except he substituted poo for **** as he knew his dad would tell him off if he didn't <laugh>
