AOC and Mane play according to the script, which is never be at your best when playing the Saints. Walcott does the same.
I like Wijnaldum and can’t believe how many people, on here, said he wasn’t good enough for Saints, before he moved to Newcastle. Apparently, according to the Sky commentary, he only scores Premier League goals at home, and hasn’t scored one in an away league match, for you or the Geordies.

The Chairman would always be positive....he would hardly say we were doomed, but he may be basing it on the fact that we all know we shouldn't be in this position. We are under performing....we should be sailing high comfortably in such a weird season. However, we aren't, but are still within touching distance of finishing much higher. Like Kreuger, I remain hopeful whilst we are still in that position, but things can change suddenly and teams go adrift. I'd expect him to be positive in public, but that doesn't necessarily reflect things behind the scene....bit like a swan swimming.

He's a good player but a lot of the time he's not who you want on the pitch when it isn't going well, when we're playing well he links everything, when we're up against it he goes missing. He did have a good 2nd half against you lot though, in the first half though Wijnaldum and AOC were the main reason you had so much of the ball.

Did you stand over him after, raising and lowering your outstretched arms alternately whilst shouting "calm down calm down?"

Nah........... knew he wasn't up for any more.........It had gone past the calm down stage once I saw what was happening with my Missus I'm afraid....just a bit of red mist. He was a very, very lucky lad, even half an attempt to come back at me would have cost him a very serious injury. So Im glad for his (and my sake) he stayed down. All over in a couple of bats of the eye lid...............

Edit......For those that asked after our friend who went to A&E he is Ok. As suggested just severe bruising.......Back to work tomorrow.........Also just found out he retires at the end of the month...............
