I’m going to stick my neck out and say that our defence, which often struggles against high crosses into the box, will have a lot less trouble with Liverpool’s forwards playing on the floor. There, I said it. Sadly I won’t be able to follow the game so I’ll look forward to catching up with our fabulous victory later on!
Thats the team i would have gone with so can't be unhappy. Not much threat on the counter though so i hope Carrillo can hold it up.
I'd have rather seen Boufal instead of Tadic personally as that line up is lacking pace when we'll be on the back foot for long periods. Carillo gonna be important today.
I understand the sentiment but very few teams go toe to toe with Liverpool and come out on top. Frustrating them is the way to beat them.
I'm still hoping we go at them. we really don't have much counter attacking ability in that team so if we sit back we're going to get swamped. But with Lemina, Hoj and Romeu in the team i really think we need to press them and win the ball back high up.
