My take on this game is: Hope= Saints keep the game alive and preferably get an honourable draw or restrict the goals against damage to less than 3. Dream= Ralph sees the error of his tactics last week, tightens up the defensive mentality and Ings scores a late winner. After all beware of ex-players! Ah that doesn’t quite work out in our favour for this fixture. Well it’s a dream anyway. Reality= We will lose by a big margin and the game is over by half time. Personally as a long time supporter the Hope bit is how I’ll approach Saturday.
I would enjoy it more if I see a vintage Lallana playing displaying his deft skills, slipping past flatfooted defenders, setting up chances and scoring a wonderful winner!!!! ……..Doesn´t he still play for SFC? In reality, in January, I expect the much admired Lallana to be playing for Villa or Sheffield United as they battle to get away from the relegation zone. IMO he would be perfect for Leeds as they chase promotion.
Increasingly, I have a good feeling about this game. Obviously, I don't trust feelings, especially my own, but I find logic can let you down just as often as emotion. So I think we'll get something from this game. Actually no, I don't think it; I feel it
Lovren didn't travel with Liverpool yesterday because of illness...not an injury so possibly available for Saturday.
