I`m starting to get pissed off with commentators who keep telling us how far Chelsea are in front of Man City. We must be invisible.
Chap on Sunday Supplement pleaded guilty to that...said he looked at Chelsea and how far they were from City. So this complaint has been noticed.
Liverpool and between 100 and 200-1. That is pretty damning for a side that narrowly finished second last season
Not read through all the pages - so apologies if already mentioned - but do we know yet whether Steve Davis is seriously injured or not?
All the discussion seems to be that he is a doubt for the internationals, but not saying he is completely ruled out. That suggests he should be OK by the end of the break (unless he is played too soon by NI)
From the Telegraph. “Cambiasso said to me, ‘what a great team you have,’” revealed Koeman. “It’s a real compliment from such a great player.” The midfielder knows a thing or two about “great teams” and Koeman certainly has one.
Is it a qualifier? If so, how about you win 4-3 and Pelle gets a hat-trick in the process if making Lovren look like a complete numpty??
Shearer on MOTD2 says "why not" when asked if Saints can make top four. Said he hopes he'll keep being asked that as he's delighted for us. Said we should just keep playing, keep enjoying it and see where it takes us. Koeman doing great when you consider how many managers call for time.
Just showed Chelsea, City and Saints games on MOTD2...only bothered to talk about us. Keep playing, enjoy ourselves and see where it takes us was Shearer's advice. Said he was thrilled for us. And added that it was funny that managers talked about needing time to bed in, but not at Southampton
Just seen the highlights again. When Shane long wheels away to celebrate his second he appears to knock down a Leicester player. Did anyone see this more closely ?
