I imagine it might be wise for Jos not to read his mentions for the next few days. I imagine more than a few saints fans will be telling him exactly what they think of him at the moment.

Only ever criticize a player when he doesn't try...never true of Jos. Had a bad day at the office...will be a game saver on another day. Do feel for Gazzaniga though...done by friendly fire.

I'm surprised at the small handful of negative Jay posts. I really thought he had a decent game. Certainly a better one that Lambert.

Very hard (actually, impossible) to disagree with the negative Yoshida posts though. Truly awful. But then he's not a RB.

I thought that we dominated the first half, could have easily got four or five-I'm guessing the disallowed goal was a foul on the keeper or something? We should have finished the game off there, one goal is never going to be enough to win the game with our defence at the moment. I don't think Yoshida played that well at RB but that's expected when you play players out of position!

Second half we let them press us and Hooiveld scores in his own net yet again! Chaplow was brought on to press the opposition which I thought he did okay with but Puncheon was doing his fair share of defending too-I would have personally subbed off Davis who didn't have a great game. Lambert didn't feature too much, but he was still needed on the pitch. Rodriguez is alright in the air but he doesn't have the physical strength and got man handled by Hangeland quite a few times. However good Gazzaniga's kicking is, it is very unlikely that Lallana is going to win the header yet he kept hitting the ball up towards him. Guly didn't do too bad when he came on and looked quite tidy.

All in all we deserved a point, we had the first half and they had the second. However bad our defence is, we definitely have goals in the team and have a chance going into every game. Ramirez will be back along with Clyne and Rickie will have time to work on his fitness. Fonte MOTM. Out of interest, is this the first time under Adkins in the league where we haven't won after winning at HT?

Yes, odd that, some on here were baying for Joses demise recently, they said he would never be Premiership class, then that has been said about others and they were wrong then too.

Can't say I am surprised at the negativity, it seems to be a disease on this Forum at the moment, JRod is young and inexperienced but learning fast, cut him some slack and he will provide. Continue with the character assassination, he won't give you anything and move on somewhere else, that will appreciate and benefit from his development.

Saints fans will be offering Jos support.

****ing idiots will be tweeting moaning about him.

There is a big difference between the two groups of people.

Dead leg was the official word (also with Clyne). Which might just mean "unspecified injury". We will have to see if he travels to Uruguay for the international break. Hopefully he will be back for the next game....... :emoticon-0106-cryin

Bruising in a training incident, didn't sound terminal, probably back after the International break.

Said on Sky that it was such a bad dead leg that he was taken to hospital. Not likely to go to Uruguay's games, though they are entitled to ask for him to travel.

Well, at least he realises it. Never fudges things, does Jos. I do have a lot of respect for his attitude and I really, really wish he was good enough.

He wasn't sat with the rest of the Saints players in the Itchen stand (neither was De Ridder). Clyne, Cork, Shaw, Butterfield & Tadanari Lee were there.

Buzzing for Jose! Unlucky not to get 3 points today. And myself? Travelling up to Manchester to play with the U21.

Will be interesting to see where we stand when we reach the stretch of Nov-Dec games where we'll be expecting to build our point total. The upcoming games for the current bottom six, through the Nov. 3-5 weekend:

    Wigan:

    Swans (A)
    West Ham (H)
    Spurs (A)

    Villa:

    Fulham (A)
    Norwich (H)
    Sunderland (A)

    Saints:

    West Ham (A)
    Spurs (H)
    West Brom (A)

    Reading:

    Liverpool (A)
    Fulham (H)
    QPR (A)

    Norwich:

    Arsenal (H)
    Villa (A)
    Stoke (H)

    QPR:

    Everton (H)
    Arsenal (A)
    Reading (A)

Plenty of games against the mid-tablers; will be curious whether any of the bottom six can step up their play and string together a few points.
