He will nor re-appear at the start of the 2nd half as a 'precaution'. Next appearance will be in feb '26 agaist Wrexham.
God I do hope so, and I'd be so pleased for him. It's not so much abuse as a way of fans coping with what seems an endless series of hopeful returns to fitness, followed by another bit of him dropping off.
Tall Paul not even on the bench. As poor as he is, he’s also our best chance of scoring. Is Wood always Wood-Gordon or is BBC just being weird? Thought it was a youngster that I’d not heard of.
Yeah it is all good natured banter, of course we would all be delighted for him if he managed to score! Would give him a bit of confidence that he can still perform, we could do with RS of old next season!
At what time will the oily one come on and play his one good game of a season, as he usually does against us. Sulemana could do with watching how Traore utilises his pace to run at players, tbh.
Real ringing endorsement of Archer that ol’ glass knees with about two months of Championship experience at the peak of his career is ahead of him in the pecking order.
Where is the Saints Brass Band? Already making the relegation budget cuts? Note - I am clearly impatient.
I hope he scores a hattrick (the player scores three goals in a game for our team), but to be honest at this stage I couldn't care less if it was their goalie throwing the ball into his own net three times - I said their goalie.
Yeah abuse is the wrong word, we NEVER give our own players abuse!! It seems mostly good natured from our perspective but if he read any of the online comments, I'm not sure he would enjoy it. We are a fickle bunch and if he scores a goal or 2, it will be all good!
I remember a terrible player we bought a few years ago (Hungarian??) who was about 6'7" and was actually shorter when he jumped up. Utterly uncoordinated
