Very late to this, but hey.

Davis - 6 Didn't really have anything to do
    Richardson - 6 Non-existent first-half, really good second half. More a 5 and then a 7 or 8.
    Fonte - 8 Brilliant, an excellent come-back
Martin - 7 Decent performance, vastly improved from Leicester
Fox - 5 Poor I thought, one of the worst performances I've seen from him. Only really based on his offensive play though, as wasn't really tested defensively.
Puncheon - 7 Very decent come-back, and would have got an 8 had he featured for longer
Morgan - 5 Couple of top quality balls out to the right flank, but slightly disappointing for me
Cork - 9 Top notch performance, ran the show. MOTM.
Lallana - 8 Almost back to his best
Lambert 8 - Cork's closest contender for MOTM, how we missed him against Leicester
Connolly - 5 Quiet, too quiet.

How Rickie Lambert has not received everyones man of the match for last night is beyond me. He was combative throughout and ran his heart out to track back. Was at the centre of everything good and made chances out of nothing in the 1st half. Like the 1st penalty shout.

Cardiff set themselves up well in the 1st half. Kept there shape and never allowed us to pass out from the back. Agree with Joey that often Fox and Richardson ended up in possession without a lot of options.

Fair play to Adkins though who got our tactics spot on in the second half. We shifted to basically a front three, which offerred an outlet ball in behind the full backs which allowed us to get the ball forward quicker. The fall backs were then pushed forward to isolate Miller further and camp the game in their half.

Agree that Connolly was disappointing and failed to impose himself on the game. Looking forward to Sharps arrival in the team and his stronger physical presence will give us a second outlet ball in much the same way as Barnard did last season.
