I agree with all of this but I've been trying to work out why that goal was so exciting. All goals are great but everyone was buzzing and as we all left the stadium you could see it in people's faces. It could have been a release of tension from the pressure of a small lead, it could be you could see what was happening quite a while before the goal was scored so the excitement gradually built up and that once Armstrong reached the ball, a goal was pretty much a certainty. It was probably a combination of all that but I still smile about it now. I was also pleased for Armstrong who put in a lot of effort during the match and still had the energy to get on the end of the pass. I think I might go and have another look.
