Oh do shut up. Harding performed more than adequately for Saints.

Why is it the norm now to slag everyone off? Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I bet he's better at his job than 99% of you are at yours. But you don't have gimps on the internet or in the stands shouting abuse from the safety of your own worthless inflated self-opinion.

I'm also convinced that if you met in the flesh it would be "alright Dan, thought you were great for Saints", and even then, doubt many would even have the courage to speak up and instead would hide your chin in your chest, in fear of a saying something to someones face.

Fox is basically Harding, but slightly better at defending and positioning and got a good delivery.

Fox is actually considerably better than Harding. Fox is a good Championship LB, whereas Harding is a good League 1 LB. Harding can just about cut it in the championship.

I thought Harding was good in league one for us, but struggled in the championship. He was unfortunate to be injured fairly early on but I don't think he would have been right for us in that league. Served us well though and does need to be called ****e.

Everyone has a different opinion like you on the new kit.

Opinion is one thing, doesn't mean it has to be constant abusing of players who gave their all, done a job and have moved on (or still at the club). Its just moronic, with no fore-thought, intelligence or class.

And as I said, 99.9% wouldn't have the guts to say it to the players face.

I still stand by my internet rule that I never say anything that I wouldn't say direct to someone.

Ah so i'm ok as I called Beattie a **** to his face for smacking his gf then?. <laugh>

We need to appreciate what standard these players are in relation to where we were. When in League 1/Championship they were certainly good enough and it was partly down to them that we got promoted but with the five year plan I don't thin they would have been considered for the PL. They could see the talent Shaw had and he wqould have developed over the next couple of years to seemlessly take over from Harding/Fox by the time we got to the PL. The problem is we moved too quickly through the leagues and this left an ability gap. Fox and Harding weren't goi ng to be able to step up and deal with PL wingers and Shaw was still a raw talent. Thankfully he's been a revelation. I just don't thnik we should slate players for finding themselves having to play above their level due in part to their own sucess.

Its not just at the left back position either, we brought Chaplow, and others who were to help us become competitive in the Championship not the PL. We must remember last year was supposed to be a consildation year in the Chamionship, promotion was a pipe dream yet here we are in part to those players some are calling ****.

Bigger problem is their promotion wage rises.

It is if we can't move them on but I think we need to buy before we let too many go anyway, even if they are not good enough. Selling Fox being a case in point, maybe mnot good enough but there isn't really any other options for cover at LB.

Don't get the Harding bashing, played over 100 games for us and had to play right back in the Championship. he was a good player.

I liked Harding as well, and I actually tended to prefer him to Fox, but it sounds like he's gone downhill. I thought he'd do well at Forest so that's disappointing.

We have less than 3 weeks of the window left. Unless we made signings such that there was absolutely no prospect of playing him, I wouldn't want Fox going anywhere. There are only another 4 months of the season left. He has come on for Shaw enough times to feel he may still be needed.

Agreed have Fox until end of the season, then play Targett in some of the pre season friendlies. See if he can cope or not, no point in selling Fox and then buying another back up it will only slow down Targett's progress.

Whenever you're at a game and see someone with the white away shirt do you call them a mug?
