Alan Nixon says Saints are looking into buying a defender! (Huzzah, I hear you cry!)

I like McCarthy, he's tough but fair. Might get a lot of bookings, but he'd toughen us up a bit.
 
Would be a bit of a surprise if our big defensive signing was a player who had missed out to injury for the entirety of the first half.
 
Can't see it being McCarthy. I think most people should start bracing themselves for inevitable, Scott Dann.

the first time I read this it made sense, untill it turns into Noddy Holder at the end....
I`ll always read Beddys post as Noddy from now on
