Basically, yes. They want to buy other players so they have to sell someone. They're not trying to move him on specifically, I think they'd be happy to keep him and sell someone else, but as Rabbo says above, he's not a regular first-teamer yet so he's a good candidate to be shipped out.

Even if we haven't bid for him I love the thrashing around of rather arrogant LFC fans faced with a little bit of reality. ie a powerhouse in decline is not always preferred to an ambitious cheeky upstart.
Still think we're not seriously interested in him though, which makes the Liverpool reaction provide even more giggle food.

Inter want Paulinho, they have already said they have to sell to buy. They see Coutinho as the player that will net them the highest fee. He wasn't a first team(10 games) even before his injury and Sneijder(only 5 games if I remember rightly) hasn't been playing due to the contract issues. Not that it matters as I have doubts we made a bid anyway.
