New rumor: Saints, Fulham, Newcastle supposedly interested in William Vainqueur, midfielder for Standard Liège. Don't know anything about him, probably all BS, but hey... it's a slow Friday.
 
Chaplow will be next then Seaborne when we get a new cb. Martin will stay and I think De Ridder will as well.

Yeah, he didn't so much as get "found out" more that he came out and said "haha you gullible ****ers" or words to that effect.

Turned out that he was just a bored teenage boy with too much time on his hands.

For the record, I would trust any twitter 'agent' with "ITK" in their name.
 
Why would a real agent know anything about a transfer which he wasn't involved in anyway?
 
I don't understand everyone having a go at our squad players; they did a job in whatever league we bought them in/for now they may or may not be good enough for the Prem. However there are two important things to remember:
1) if the worst happens and we get relegated, they are probably exactly the sort we will need to survive next season, the likes of Ramirez, Lallana, Puncheon, Schneiderlin etc will probably be picked up by other Prem clubs and we will need players who know how we play etc
2) whatever happened to having a squad? We need players who are prepared to fight for a place in the team, play in the cups etc and cover for injuries and can't afford to have a squad all of the calibre of our first team; that quality of player is unlikely to come to us to sit on the bench; we need these guys in and around the squad to keep it competitive but also not have too many decisions for Adkins to make...

I agree that players making a fuss and disrupting things should be shipped out but I am not sure all of the guys you are all slagging off are in that bracket.

These are people you are talking about and none of them are deliberately playing badly not have all of them had a fair crack recently.

I am not saying we don't need to strengthen, I am just saying we shouldn't attack players who have maybe suffered from the teams success of back to back promotions and reaching a level beyond which they can perform. We need to evolve and build but we're not secure in the prem yet and the likes of Chaplow and De Ridder will do a job in the Championship should the worst happen.

And can we focus on transfer gossip in here not slagging off our squad players and each other, please!
 
Good luck to Ryan Dickson who was a cog in our rise up the leagues. Personally never really impressed me, always thought Harding was better. IMO Dickson's finest game for us was away at Orient where he played LM for an injured Lallana and set up a couple of goals.

Your right.....you never know, get a couple of more injuries and these players will be featuring in the PL, after all they are part of our PL squad.

But lets not talk about the Championship....I thought we were looking upwards.
 
How many players have we been linked to now? And how many will we be linked to by the end of the window?.
