Just looked at Newsnow and several stories about the club backing Nigel. Not a direct quote in any of them! So he was sacked yesterday and given a vote pof confidence today. Journalists pah!
He is just a moany bastard, never has anything good to say. He is also one of the people that spread **** about Cortese picking the team. He also nearly always twists what Adkins says in his interviews, to try and have a dig at Cortese some how.
Did I miss the vote of confidence we were all given early notice of? Maybe Nige did it himself when he said - "Someone is always going to be the favourite to be sacked. If you're bottom of the league, you should be the favourite probably." Its that level of logic that football sometimes lacks. Last time I heard that sort of common sense it was WGS talking.
Yeah, Nigel may use a lot of psycho-babble at times but he can also be very straight to the point. Speaks a lot of sense.
Good summation of Adkins past and the problems he now faces. I like the fact that it said Cortese is close to Nigel and likes him...you would think according to most articles that they had a bad relationship. Hope he gives him more time....I know there is always a point when Chairmen can't take any more, but lets hope it doesn't come to that.
