So poor old Sammy is going to join 'arry. Wasn't there anywhere better? I will be happy if he scores but only if they lose anyway!
The thing I am getting at is, we shouldn't really be taking one play out of one position to cover another. It may be a little greedy, but oh well.
By jumping up and down when the camera pans round, and then answering a quesiton right from the big screen?
Come on Paddy, that doesn't happen til the final round. Until that point, they just press their buzzer
Or someone is too dim to understand. You're saying Hojberg is not a DM, well also Clasie also isn't one. Or maybe he's more of a DM than Hojbjerg is, but he's still no better than him at that position . And we don't need them both as we're already too crowded in that position, both of them couldn't even make it to the bench last match. No point in keeping them both.
Hopefully no-one comes in for Clasie, so that we get to keep him. And then who knows, at some point he then might actually get a chance to have a run in the team (albeit almost certainly at the misfortunate of someone else, eg injury). I still have faith in him.
I think Clasie is more useful and younger than Davis. But both are decent players. Just no place for them in the team right now. And also a bit difficult to see a role for them going forward given the style we play. I would be fine with Clasie playing in the Cups and seeing if he can prove himself. But I'm also fine if the club decide to part ways. He didn't complain about his role, and always worked his ass off when he played so I wish him the best. I think he is a top league player including the PL. Just needs a team that uses a two CM pairing. If we played an old school 4-4-2, Clasie and Davis would have been a nice pairing. But we don't.
So Gallagher gone on loan, Chris Wood has moved to Burnley so would appear Long is staying, I am guessing no new striker. Just an attacking mid required for me then
Bham also signed Carl Jenkinson on loan today, a pretty good loan deal for them considering he's been a Premier League player the past few seasons (even if on loan at WHam). Blues fans on their forum seem extremely happy with Gallagher, let's hope he does well there
