I swear he was injured when you signed him aswell? You effectively paid him wages and provided treatment for his wrist injury.

Still a true Saint in my eyes, was great to see him play at the end of last season in the Saints Legends game.

 

No- he was injured in 2008 and was fully recovered by the time we signed him a year later. Wiki claims he earned £500,000 in his eight months at Pompey !!

John Viafara was awful when he played in the prem. Just saying.

 

Oh yes, Eammon Collins was going to be the next best thing ...... until it was windy and he fell over. To be fair, he was great on the ball.

 

I actually played in the same side with him a couple of times, and his touch was awesome. If he was a stone heavier he could have made it.
