Nah, people change. Not always for the better, but they do.

That old saying about a leopard not changing it's spots? Utter bollocks.

Stolen from Saintsweb but i dont see it posted anywhere here.

    https://sport.sfr.fr/football/premier-league/exclu-video-boufal-veut-quitter-southampton.html

    Bad translation:
"Author of a very disappointing season - especially since the arrival of Mark Hughes - in Southampton, Sofiane Boufal spoke about her future in Breaking Foot. And for the Moroccan, whose playing time has become hungry, things are clear: he wants to leave the Saints. Even if he assures that relations are now calmed with his coach and his leaders."

It would be great if they could keep him, he knuckled down under whoever the manager is and became a regular starter. The boy’s got immense talent and he needs some tough love to remind him he’s part of a team and can use his skills to open things up for others.
Partway through the season I thought he’d done it - he was tracking back and winning the ball, but I think MP2 screwed it up for him and he then got “attitude”.
If he can’t see a future here though, then he needs to go and play in an easier League, like in France.
