    Hodgson is the same as every English born Manager of the National Team....He is stuck in the big club mentality, ergo, a player must be better because he plays for a one of the traditional top six teams.

    What I don't get is...


    - Pick Clyne, leaves Chambers in U21s
    - Injury to a RB, calls up Chambers (currently AFC's 3rd choice CB)
    - Chambers plays, Clyne doesn't


    Doesn't really make much sense and if I was Clyne I'd be a little pee'd off.

    Agree with this. It's not as if Chambers was good last game. He was very average against a team he should have been dominating.

    Chambers has been poor. Rooney can't hit a barn door and welbeck couldn't control an inanimate object let alone a football.

    I wouldn't want something career threatening, or even a ruptured knee....but a twisted ankle would be very welcome.....
    But if Roy was watching the same game that I am then he SHOULD hook him off at HT.
