I think the only changes will be Andre Wisdom in for Downing & Sahin/Shelvey/Suso in for Henderson. Can't see any other changes personally, everyone else has pretty much nailed down their first team spots. As for players that I am worried about, its the trio of Lambert, Lallana & Ramirez who are all very good players capable of creating & scoring goals.
Going to be a hard game for us, i'll be travelling up tomorrow and staying over the night. Hoping for a Saints win but I have my doubts, Suarez against our defence and goalkeeper worries me. One question I will ask and have done on the match thread on our board is. What do you feel about Gerrard? A few Liverpool fans I know say he looks past it and is just a passenger in most games. If true it's sad to see a once great and passionate player on the decline.
Perhaps you could get your American pimps to hire him and you too could play like Barca! We'd take £50 million
Keep off the magic mushrooms, we broke your moves down at crucial times, West Brom didn't. Rushie was the best striker of his time and was superb for us, even though he played in a Principality team that included Hughes, Southall, Speed, Ratcliffe, Saunders and Pat Van Den Hauwe they were never or even briefly the best teamin the world.
Absolutely, we just had a good day...just like you last Sunday. Germany were still the best team in 1990 and you are still **** in 2012. West Brom might have had an off day....to be honest it was difficult to tell because the only time they had possession of the ball was to kick or head clear. We had 77% possession in that 1st half. If Brendan was still here he would have creamed his pants....and we would have been drawing 0-0
Possession doesn't win games, if it did we'd have beat both you and Spurs. Btw shouldn't you be haunting the Arsenal board on the Arsenal v Swansea matchthread instead of gloating about being 4 points ahead of us in November?
Mentioned a fair few blues in a good light there, didn't think you had it in you I'll rephrase then, What about when you were kind enough to give us a 3 goal win so we could get a head start on the most evilest team in the world that took your manager.
Everton had a great side, no harm in stating it., By the way Neville Southall the flying ex-binman derserved his MBE(Most Bins Emptied)
You want to look out for Puncheon too - most of us cant believe the turn around this lad has made this season, he has been unbelieveably good and our MOTM a couple of times. From a sulky little s--- who fell out with everybody last season and got loaned out, to one of Saints main men in the Prem. Travelling up tomorrow for the game and really looking forward to Anfield again, after all these years. Very hard one for us but we have a decent chance if we perform to our best. 2-2 not unreasonable expectation, otherwise probably a narrow win for Liverpool. Good luck to LFC - after tomorrow.
Wash your mouth with soap and water, Rickie is so important to us, not just with goals but everything moves through him. He will keep yor defence busy making space for others and then pop up on the right wing with a peach of a cross. Obvious dangers are Lallana and Ramirez, on the right Clyne and Puncheon have destroyed many a left back this season, our keeper Gazza is somewhat young and dodgy but to stop us then you have to stop Cork and the young French lad Schneiderlin in midfield, Schneiderlinis one of the top tacklers, passers player with intercecptions in the league. Even if we are 2 goals down the team will still think the game winnable.
