One of the first songs written by Jagger/Richards. A beautiful song but nowadays I fear the lyrics though so innocent would these days frowned upon.
Here's one of my earliest music memories from possibly the most underappreciated and tragic bands in history, Badfinger. They were one of the forerunners of the emergence of melodic Power Pop and wrote some fantastic songs including the all time classic Without You. They should've been big but got royally screwed by their manager leaving them broke and leader Peter Ham took his own life in '75. his Co-Writer, Tom Evans also committed suicide in '83. They both could've been rich from the royalties of Without You alone now... Just love this evocative song from my youth...
Such an absolute tragedy that they weren't a huge success, especially as they were the first group signed to Apple with songs written by McCartney and produced by George Harrison. I think I prefer their version of "Without You" to the Harry Nilsson one and don't even mention the appalling version done by Mariah Carey

Can't have been many well known female drummers. Other than whatsername in the White Stripes and the lady with Prince I'm not sure I know any more. Is it because of the muscle mass required, because in my experience, women have impeccable timing .....
Reminds me of that moment in High Fidelity when Lisa Bonet is singing "Baby I Love Your Way" and John Cusack says... "I used to hate this song. Now I kinda like it".
