One of the best from 1983 and a hugely talented chap. I notice that they have some new stuff out now.
Simply the best song from 1983...or ever. Love Spandau, seen them in concert 4 times (twice in the early/mid 80s) and twice in the last 10 years. I cannot see how they think they can continue now without Tony ‘the voice’ Hadley. Anyway, it’s the end of the evening at your local ‘disco’, the lights have just dimmed for the last song. You hear the first few bars of this and scan the room to find that girl that you had been too shy (hush, hush) to talk to and then slowly take her to the dance floor to spend 6 minutes 30 with her dancing to this:
Another from 1983. Subterranean Jungle wasn't their strongest album but this track is ok and the video maybe inspired Green Day's Basket Case.
