    They're still going. Saw them at the Forum in Kentish Town, London, last year. An excellent live show, very slick; all their songs are a bit "samey", but so what really? I think they're back in the UK later this year.

    These guys are from Southampton, I believe. The sleepy South Coast town has hardly been a hotbed of musical talent, for some reason (though Craig David has been flying the flag in a pretty big way). Anyway, here are cool rockin cats, the Junco Shakers ....

    Ok, a day late with these, but this is one of my music heroes...

    73...Pete Townshend Lead Guitarist, Co Vocalist and main Songwriter of The Who was born in Chiswick in 1945..

    How do I choose his songs?, they are all great...here are a few probably lesser known ones that are special to me...

    This was the one that made me first aware of The Who, when I started to take an interest in my older brother's record collection around '71 I think...
