Just heard an interesting interview on the radio with George Monbiot talking to Jeremy Vine and they played a song, Such A Thing As Society written by the former and performed by Folk Artist, Ewan McLennan from a collaborative album of theirs called Breaking The Spell Of Loneliness. This video explains what it is all about, he is basically saying that Humans are a gregarious and altruistic species by nature and politics should reflect this by turning against the "no society" ideology of the Thatcher years that was perpetuated to some extent by New Labour...
