While I'm here I'll pop another song on the board.

So Spotify are currently doing their year in review for 2017... Mine is below. Tbf, I'm not surprised with the tracks.... Though Sign of the Times is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. It's more of a rock ballad than anything you would expect by any one direction member. Most of my top artists aren't surprising either, certainly 10,000 Maniacs whom I listened to loads (and an entire album rather than individual tracks). And I did listen to the album Affirmation a lot by Savage Garden too. James Blunt is a bit surprising, especially as most of my plays would be from the song 1973 (great song) with a few Wise Men and Goodbye My Lover's. There was one song I listened to his which was a duet so wouldn't count which I'm also surprised wasn't in my top 100 played songs playlist of last year.

Anyone else with Spotify check this out?

Originally apparently aimed at George W Bush it seems to fit today's President nicely.

Not quite sure why but I have been listening to this a lot over the last few days, along way from the usual music I listen to:

For some of you who are more educated on this kind of stuff, do you know anything else similar to this?

How about a bit of West Gallery singing then? This is the sort of thing the Mellstock Choir might have done on Christmas Eve in Thomas Hardy’s Under The Greenwood Tree. West Gallery choirs were the staple of church music until the introduction of the dreaded church organ.

Joni’s Christmas song that isn’t about Christmas, but about her breaking up with Graham Nash:
