    Not sure they have their figures right, did Gaston really cost more than Osvaldo? I can't imagine one instalment left on Osvaldo would be that big, I'm sure we could get at least £8m for Ramirez.

    Gaston cost £12m, Osvaldo cost £13.1m potentially rising to £15m. I'm not sure how big the installment they're talking about is.

    I'd be surprised if we sold Ramirez now, just as he's starting to show he can do a job for us.

    He may well just be playing for a move of course, but he's on a contract here and won't leave just because he would like to.

    And he scored against Everton, and his play has been generally a fair bit improved. I know you hate him, RLGB, but come off it.

    I just have not rated him. A few fancy flicks but nothing special. When he plays like Lallana or Rodriguez then I'll have a rethink...

    His general play has been much better lately. Looked sharp today as well until getting his leg rearranged by Brown. Guess he won't be going anywhere in that state anyway.

    Yoshida is decent. If we already had our eye on one then perhaps this will be the push needed to bring them in, but I don't really want any panic buys.

    Looks pretty similar to every other game. I'm not saying we don't need better players, but in the context of the season, it's not imperative that we reinforce now, and panic buying after an injury is rarely a good idea.

    Yoshida and Fonte can do a job but what happens if one of them get injured .....Jos? Doesn't fill me with confidence
