Juventus are trying to offload Vucinic because they have too many strikers, Valencia have no money, and Inter have no money. So I'd be surprised.

They were taken over by the local government such were their financial problems. Apparently Peter Lim has been trying to buy them but without success.

No idea. The club's wealth is not equal to the owner's though.

'Looking at England and abroad.' Realistically, what players in England could it be, assuming it is either a centre back or striker is who we are looking to buy.

    Lescott? Hernandez? :emoticon-0115-inlov

He has not shown enough for premier league club to make a bid and everyone in Spain and Italy seems skint. I think our best chance to offload him is a loan deal to any of these sides and hope he knuckles down(no pun intended) enough to get his value up and become a player clubs will want to spend money on.

But it does determine how much they have to spend?

You guys totally confuse me. Everyone keeps saying Lallana is invaluable and can't be allowed to leave at any price because of how awesome he is and what he represents to the club, etc..

And yet everyone keeps getting excited and wanting us to get Banega, who 1) Is probably most likely take Lallana's spot on the team and 2) is pretty much the anti-Lallana in terms of loyalty/love of club/nice guy.

Are you under the impression that Banega plays on the right wing?

Umm? Lallana Banega Rodriguez. Banega just behind the striker.

<doh> Banega would play in the number 10 role, Lallana on the right and Rodriguez on the left.

No. But Lallana doesn't actually play on the right wing either.

Why? Lallana can play anywhere in the three behind a lone striker, he'd still be the 1st name on the attacking midfield team sheet.

Far more likely Davis would lose his spot than Lallana. Well, the Davis/Ramirez/JWP spot.

Sweeping generalisation and so far you're the only one who assumes they couldn't play in the same team.

I think loving Lallana and wanting him to stay at Saints and the excitement of potentially signing a very talented player are not the same thing
