    If we can't get a CB that we would happily buy in the summer, for a decent price, there's little point us overspending now or going for someone not up to standard.

    relying on all three not to get crocked for the rest of the season is a bit dodge though. unless we can hit the 40pts soonish.

    We are judging Yosh and Jos when they step in with little match fitness. Not suggesting they can really replace Dejan, but they could both improve with more games. Sorry if my relentless optimism grates :(

    The issue, though, is that there is no 'for a while'...it's either a move in the next ten days, or we're rocking it for the remainder of the year, health permitting.

    And while we're pretty solidly in 9th, if we don't make a move for a CB, we have to be comfortable with the fact that it might result us sliding back into that pack and finishing as low as 12th or 13th, if someone a couple teams in the bottom half discover their form.
