Manchester United are in initial talks over the transfer of Benfica CB Victor Lindelof for £38m.
I know there is a threat for other sides transfers but does this suggest United will not be in for Fonte?

It feels like Fonte is being played. It feels like he's fallen for it as well. Can't say I'm looking forward to Jan.

 

It's not completely out of the realms of possibility that Fonte could see out his career back in Benfica if there's a cb vacancy. I'm completely clutching at straws of course, but I actually would have no issue with something like that happening (so long as we had a replacement).

Also, I was having dinner in Winchester on Friday night and Jay Rod was in the same restaurant having dinner with Hugo Schecter the Player Liaison officer. Not sure about his role but know he plays a part in helping new signings settle etc? Or they could just be good friends.

 

Well,Jay was a little like a new player on the w/end so thanks to Hugo.
Alex is still injured. Really could do with him back, as watching FF kick makes me wince worse than he!

 

He's basically helps all players out with everything, so becomes good friends with them.

McCarthy is back in training at last.

 

Well Hugo Schecter came out as gay not so long ago. Maybe Jay is one of the England internationals that is in the closet...

Either that or they are just mates!

 

Didn't he kiss the tattoo on his wrist on Sunday because him and his wife have matching ones and he was paying tribute to her?

Davo received a sideways pass and fired it vertically forward 'through the lines' having looked up and seen/predicted where Boufal would be. I've been crying out for our CMs to start playing balls like that all season, and am still confident only Davo could do it and anticipate moving forward to play a one two.

It's a great way to get round teams if going wide all the bloody time isn't working.
