Depends on whether we registered in time, but unlikely I would think. Surely they will want to assess him and get him used to the other players. All Nigel would say is that he had already picked the team for tomorrow...make of that what you like. I would rather get a good performance out of him against a team we might get something from...Everton at SMS.
The signing hasn't even been announced yet and most of our new players make their first appearance from the bench so even if the deal was done in time I very much doubt he'd be starting tomorrow and would be surprised if he even made the bench.
I would just like to say i had this rumour on the 3rd of January, check out page 76 of the rumours page IM ITK!!!
http://fotball.rbnett.no/england/article263955.ece Basically translated that subject to any unforseen happenings the signing will be announced tomorrow.
To add to that, there have been reports in Norway that Forren's medical is tonight. Looks like it very well could be done and dusted tomorrow.
Having a medical at night isn't that unusual........especially lately with all these sly late bidders hidding in the hedge rows. Well played Nige.
Apparently Forren will be traveling up to Stamford bridge with his agent to watch us play, Seriously!, Who's idea was that??!!
It's a brilliant idea; no chance that he can fly off to another city, and I'm sure that Cortese has some sort of spring-loaded net at the ready in case we go down 4-0 and they try to make a break for it.
He turned down Liverpool because he wants playing time. Watching us against Chelsea will dispel any fears he might have about breaking into our first team.
Well, he's signing with Saints because he wants first team action. What better way to convince him he could get into the first team?
