    At last, a response..!

I see where you're going chaps, but the first and last names of these two players are identical. Close Beddytare, but no cigar.

I can see someone is going to be saying... I didn't know that..? ...this evening. ;)

Ah... no. FIRST and LAST names are identical. Like I said in the previous post, some people on here are obviously going to know something about Saints they never knew before.

I'm surprised you Peeps don't get this one straight away. Can't be sure but I think it is unique to Saints.

There were two, one our famous No9 in the early '70's, the other a full back in the '60's.

My old man actually knew both of them well!!!!

Hallelujah..! Well done. Ron Davies it is. Care to explain to those who don't know..?

Ah, I see you have. The LB Ron Davies missed the CF Ron Davies by about 3 or 4 seasons.

I would have thought you were Lew Chatterley, but I don't know who you replaced. Not yet, anyway.

I eventually worked out it was John McGrath, but I couldn't think, for the life of me, who he replaced. Ol' Cup Winner Jim, eh..?

Actually I was thinking of the Davis's of the 60s and seventies Ron Davis I knew quite well but I could not think of the others first name to save me life. Then I thought my self perhaps its the other Davis (Kelvin) As I couldn't remember I thought it might be a clue for someone else.......
