Got this from the Hull board .

That was on Saintsweb

I think the site there is a law firm that doesn’t offer services in this legal area so has no specialist knowledge.

And the theory is that this article was a SEO friendly article to get them extra traffic and potential business by capitalising on a story attracting lots of national attention.

So potentially not that balanced

SEO friendly ?

Search engine optimisation. So writing things in such a way that they appear high in searches. I think that is some people’s entire job (or a large part of it)

Just a SW theory though. But backed up by apparently the firm not offering any services in the area of sports law
Thanks . Esp,for the SEO explanation .

The article is hypothetical. I could concur that punishment would appear to be the only option but the reality is that the club never sanctioned the spying. It looks like the action of an individual. The article does is not considering the detail of the case.

Strangely even though this situation isn’t resolved, I feel like I’ve moved on. Emotions have swung wildly from hope to despair…with main emotion now general cheesed-offy-ness. We got relegated to league one with minus points and we survived. Guess as you get older you become aware that life just moves on. Brain protecting itself i guess.

Sorry . I just don’t buy for one nano second it was one person . What on earth would they hope to achieve ?
It makes no sense to me what so ever .

You’ve never been in a job where to get the highest performance review rating you are given the vague statement that you have to go “above and beyond”. And that part is never defined? Because those jobs are all I’ve ever done and I’ve never got those top ratings

It not completely impossible. Just not necessarily likely here

Yup. It could even be an idea triggered by an offhand remark, as Fran referred to the other day with her Thomas Becket comment. Somebody saying "I wish we knew if Hackney's going to be playing" or "I wonder who'll be taking their penalties in a shoot out."

And then the junior member of staff working in a high-stakes, high-pressure, highly competitive industry decides to "use their initiative" and find out in the hope of impressing their boss.

EDIT: And for the sake of clarity, I also doubt that's what happened here, but it's certainly possible.

Will it be Spors or Tonda that ends up wearing a hairshirt?...:emoticon-0112-wonde

I never took much notice of performance reviews, on the grounds that it was mostly all bollocks. But I suppose plenty of people did, and do.

I see that Deeney is still spouting ****. Saying he hopes we get smashed in the play off final as the efl don’t have the balls to throw us out.
What is this knobs problem? And he should know about smashing things, mainly defenceless blokes heads.

Think he's just an angry man and it gets clicks I guess.

He along with many others know that line of opinion gets more hits/clicks online.

“I think they should just get a fine and everyone move on” isn’t going to get very far in a social media based world
