Really interesting to see the thoughts on how we should approach tonight. I have predicted a 2-0 loss, based mainly on how well Southampton played against Man City and our recent displays. I also can’t see KMC going gung ho for it, that’s not how we play so unlikely to change how. Could be a cracking game though if there are early goals!!

Thought we’d be saving Davis, Burns, and Philogene for Saturday, but they should be quick on the break against that Southampton team.

25 minutes in - still goalless, but we’re looking good and arguably edge the first half so far. Been a good ebb and flow to the game too.

We look a lot more willing to go direct and run at them. Defensively solid and our central midfield is ticking along nicely too.

Burns and Nunez both have to be a lot more effective on the ball. Too loose and careless at crucial times.

Careless in midfield and losing the ball too often. We have had a couple of good chances, but need to be more clinical (as usual).

0-0 at half time. Pretty good game of football so far. Defensively we’ve been solid overall, with O’Shea making two big tackles in the space of a few minutes. We look a little shaky when we get hit on the break, but I think midfield has been a lot more creative and incisive compared to the last few games.

Philogene and Burns getting opportunities to run in behind. Philogene’s ball carrying skills have been good and Burns has put in some excellent crosses. We do look a little sloppy on the counter though. Both Nunez and Burns have been guilty of giving the ball away cheaply in promising areas.

A point wouldn’t be the end of the world, and would knock them out of automatic promotion contention. Feel like there are a couple of goals in this one.

Ref seems to be on our side, can't wait until he gives us a soft penalty for all the Millwall blubbing!

1-1! Free kick converted outside the area. Takes a nick and beats Walton, comes off his feet. Can’t tell if he has to do better there.
