They were quoting £15m at the start of the season from Burnley and Watford weren't they?...probably a bit less now though.
It wasn't, but the definition in reality has never been intentional versus unintentional, but some sort of judgement on avoidable + producing an advantage. There is probably one genuinely intentional handball every season, if that.
Yep. There are certain refs where i think this isnt going to go so well. East, Friend are the obvious choices, but there are others
For the Redmond handball, does anyone know if the VAR is played only at full speed, or also slow motion? I'm sure it would look more deliberate the slower it was played
Not sure where you get that from? A few people groaned about him but my recollection is that most of us thought he was our best player.
Not a good time to start selling any player to be honest.............The results Saints have had over recent months has probably knocked 10 grand a player off.......Which means most will have to leave on a free!!
Do you still get sent off for deliberate handball, or has the rules changed? Dont know how Hughes can claim the goal should have been given. It wasnt deliberate but he gained a huge advantage from it. If a ball hits an attacker on the arm accidently , and deflects the ball over the line, the goal should never be given. Dont see why this is different.
I think you will find that for us, it is never given, previously for Leicester City it was given, was it not?
And the majority of fouls arent deliberate. Doesnt stop the referee from given them, especially if the offending team takes an advantage. Handball should be judged the same.
