Saints announce Virgin Media as new club sponsor

Also true for the Ladies.

 

I work for Virgin and I haven't heard any of this through the company channels which is slightly annoying

 

The sound system at some grounds are significantly better. You can hear the announcements and also when the teams come out the music can really excite the home crowd with a loud thumping overture. I wish St Mary's was like that, just to get the Saints and fans pulse racing

 

Hanging about in the men's lavatory can get me into enough trouble without you suggesting I loiter around the Ladies as well.

 

I wish they'd stop playing music all the way through until 2 minutes before kick-off, might allow some decent atmosphere to build pre-game.

 

I think the music covers the silences...to be honest, we are not the most rambunctious of fans...and most don't appear until just before kick off.

 

My other source of irritation is the fact they play exactly the same music in the same order pre-game, each home game. I was trying to have a chat with my friend (sat next to me) before the Kelvin Davis testimonial and we couldn't hear each other as the music was blasting out so loud, must have been sat under a speaker.

 

That playlist changed when Ralph took over We've always called it Cortese's playlist, and now it's Ralph's playlist.

 

Yes, I'm sure the sounds are better at many grounds. Sadly, it's somewhat the nature of the beast with totally enclosed wrap-around stadia. I do think Saints could pay more attention to it though it is difficult to do experiments in acoustics, within an empty stadium, when it is going to operate in a full one. The acoustics change dramatically.

 

Has it been posted the this sponsorship deal makes us 6th highest in the league.

I am now with Virgin Media and like Saints they are faultless.

if you miss or get behind on your payments for virgin media & TV then an annoying pop up appears on the TV screen telling you to call Virgin and it moves around the screen and wont go away until you pay your bill.

I am just wandering if Saints fans in the ground using the Virgin in stadium services also miss payments will the pop up appear carrying the missed payment message pop up on the pitch during play?
