Bit embarrassing that JP's doing so well for the Saints. We could certainly use his goals, energy etc.

Almost 3-0, bring it on, I grew up living just 20 mins from Southampton, so used to catch a few games at the Dell.

3-1, one of the worst OGs youll ever see, passed perfectly into the back of the net under no pressure at all.

All 3 goals have been gifted to them

Where from, I live about 200m from the Dell, or rather where it used to be.

2-1, very lucky goal.

Andover > Winchester > Chandlers Ford - was always an R, but took the opportunity to watch Division 1 football at the Dell, including a few of ours. Remember seeking out parking in the vicinity of that park area on the main drag into Soton.

A car load of chelsea fans asked me where the dell was and they were only 200m from seeing the floodlight, I pointed them the other way and told them it was the other side of the Itchen bridge. I hope Swords was one of them. :D

My old man used to borrow a ST from a Saints-supporting colleague and take me to see them in the days of Keegan, Shilton, Mills, Golac, Ball, Channon, Watson et al. A great side they had for a good few years then.

I used to watch cup matches there, £2 a pop as a kid was worth it vs more than 10 times that amount to get to LR. Used to go in the away end too.

My favourite football memory was watching Stan down the Dell, about to take a corner but instead climbing over the advertising hoardings and sitting down in the disabled section. I think the ref booked him, it the crowd loved it.

Martin Chivers?

Mine was at the dell too, it was voted the best away match ever on LFW, the fat guy in the home end who got so wound up that he tried to climb into the visiting cage. "youre fat and your birds a skank" still brings a smile to my face. i dont even remember the score, just what was happening elsewhere.
