Now that the first team are finding their feet in the new system, the one youth players that could really make a big impact could be Seagar, I do not know how far away he is from coming back but if all goes well he could make a big impact after January. His main strength is his knack of being in the right place for the loose ball, something which can not be taught, I can see him being Charlie's reserve by the end of the season if his rehab goes well

I thought exactly this earlier in the summer when I was thinking about the new style of play and which youngsters could break through.

Don't think we'll see him this season ... possibly a half-season loan if he's fit by January and review next summer. Didn't he have the same injury as JRod?

Interesting Jason McCarthy is playing at RB on loan at Walsall ... wonder if his long-term future here is at RB. We may well have an opening next summer, after all.

He's ticking along nicely. Was Fans' Player Of The Season last year at Wycombe and now he is doing the business again in League One. Still only 20..

I am still surprised we sent him out before Claude was even in the building for his interview.

Yeah, I am guessing if Martina had gone to Everton before Pied had bust his knee, he might be here. But in the long run another 40 games will be better for him.

1 Lewis (GK) : 2 Valery : 3 Vokins : 4 Jones (C) : 5 Cook : 6 Gardos : 7 Mdlalose : 8 O'Connor : 9 Johnson : 10 Slattery : 11 Willard : Start against Man City U23's tonight. Subs. 13 Parkes (GK) : 12 O'Driscoll : 14 Smallbone : 15 Afolabi : 16 Rowthorn. A young team to say the least. Would seem some of the older lads will be getting time on Wednesday!
