Nice, unfortunately the clip does not show the wonderful expression on Lovren's face after we scored...Um, I think you might possibly mean this one?

And things that don't come off aren't always a fiasco. If one of us didn't buy a car because it was more than we wanted to pay.....would that be a fiasco? It may have been a bit of a fiasco but not for want of trying on the clubs part.
Agreed. I don't think we could have really handled it any differently but I do fear that having alerted the rest of the Premier League as to his availability we will probably be gazumped in the summer. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst I guess...And things that don't come off aren't always a fiasco. That's not a fiasco though is it. You can't have an endless supply of options. Better to wait than get second best or pay over the odds in terms of wages. The fiasco part of it was that despite having considerable funds to spend and a whole month, Les Reed failed to bring an attacking player with pace into the club ( and one that the Manager desperately wanted apparently).
Walcott was option one, Promes option two, where was option three?.

There is room for Sims' pace, directness and trickery plus Hesketh's vision, skill and intelligence but as I said before picking both of them is a leap of faith that Pellegrino doesn't possess.
I hope that I an wrong but I think that he will continue to use Sims as an impact sub.
I would see Sims as a Redmond/Boufal relacement and Hesketh as a Tadic replacement.
It won't be the failure to sign Walcott or Promes that determines our Premier League status. If it ultimately costs your club its' PL status it is financially disasterous and very poor business.
Personally would love to see a team next season with Sims, Hesketh, JWP and Stephens all in the starting line up. Add Harry Reed to that and you have that magic 45%-50% from the academy that many of us dream of.

If we are in the championship he will get a chance to play as most of our present squad will leave in the summerCan't see Harry being at the same level as the others. Apart from one game where he had an action man 45mins , he did not show me how he'd contribute to a quality Prem team. Love to be proved wrong though.

I rate reed the least of those and he's proven himself to be at least midtable championshipYou also have a lower end championship team but don't let that worry you.
