As long as you were under 18 on 1st of August you can play for both. Vokins, Smallbone, Johnson, Afolabi and Rowthorn were all in tonight's squad but have been included in previous U23 squads too.

Might have read too much into it though, Rodriguez could start from the bench perhaps.

We have players that play for both sides, depending how important we deem a game. Olomola isn't one.
 
The youth team did very well in staying in the game this evening against a skillful Utd team. Great defending - plus a bit of luck- kept the deficit to the single goal, then two superb individual goals form Oconnor and Smallbone won the game. Am I the only person to have seen a touch of Le Tiss in Smallbone's goal?
