3-1 full time. Impressive performance.

I'm going to disown the first team and just follow the academy boys. Much more fun.
It would actually be a brilliant way to protest. Not that I think we are at the stage where we need to do that sort of thing, but when clubs are being ran into the ground and fans want to protest, turning out in full force for youth games rather then first team would be interesting.

I like the look of Hewitt the CB too.
I was going to mention him. Looked quite speedy as well, which is a plus for a CB.
Dibling first half was excellent but faded in the second.
Ballard couldn’t get into the game for long periods but still managed to score, despite missing an easier chance.
Doyle was just outstanding for the entire game.
I’m not suggesting that we throw him into the first team, but I genuinely think that he should be given more time on the bench and given a few minutes in games, even if we are losing, because he has skills that we are lacking in the first team squad and it wouldn’t hurt to see how those skills transfer to the big stage.
Impressive to see how many of the team are confident on the ball and willing to run with it.

Doyle and Lavia working together with JWP in front of them might be worth trying sometime.

I was thinking of Doyle in the No10 role, beating opponents, finding passes (the one to Ballard when he scooped the ball between/over defenders) shooting (and scoring) plus drawing free kicks for JWP to catch and pass Beckham before he leaves us.
