There we are. Took their time but was confident this was right. So now the source still has a 100% record, lets ask them about Ramirez.... ;)

In fairness, we all seem as clueless as eachother on Gaston. Well it's drawing to a resolution.

All I know from the source is that "Cortese is still confident". Is he ever not?

Pleased we signed a CB, but would rather someone with prem experience at the back #saintsfc

LOL

Quashie was great for us. I remember the day after we went down in 2005, me and my dad went to the stadium to see what was happeining, loads of players walking in and out. Nigel Quashie was the only one who stopped, shaking every fans hand and appologising to the supporters for a poor season. top guy

This is brilliant stuff from Cortese. Will widen our appeal in Far East and bring in a lot of money I would imagine!

Reckon Cortese may just have a quiet word to get both Yoshida and Lee a run out on Sunday. With Utd's massive following in Asia there are likely to be millions watching over there so an ideal opportunity :)

Part of me was hoping that we wouldn't announce a centre back signing until Saturday morning or something. Just to troll the whole of Twitter really.

He'll be worth the £2million if he does this in the last minute against the Skates in the FA Cup :)

But seriously, I can't really say whether it's a good signing or not because I've never seen him play.

However... He's young, can play as a left or right sided centre back, and is Japan's captain, so he must have something about him.
