Yes, this would be the case if he played for, say, St. Mirren. However, having watched him play against some very good sides in the Champions League, in particular him MURDERING BARCA TO DEATH, I think we can get a little excited. Plus with destroyers like him a lot is about his raw tools, his athleticism and strength, which is very clear to see.

Yeah, that Barcelona game was when I really started to take notice.

talkSPORT just said they hope he doesn't come here as "Wanyama is better than Southampton".

This says more about TalkSport than Saints. They don't have a single innovative thinker on board.
If they were a football team, they'd keep going sideways and backwards because those patterns are safely ingrained, and challenged less.

Ive got his song sorted.

WANNY WANNY WANYAMA WANYAMA WANYAMA WANNY WANNY WANYAMA WANNY WANYAMA

To the tune of i am the music man.

i think you will all agree this is up there with Lennon/Mcartney for imaginitive song writing.

Sky Sports are saying we're battling with Cardiff to sign Wanyama. Surely he'd choose us over Cardiff!

Is it wrong of me to want to set you on fire for that?

Interesting that some sources say Cardiff and Stoke, and others say names like Arsenal and Inter. I'm going to assume that pretty much every team that has £10m to spend is after this guy.

I would rather see Cardiff sign someone who is more than just potential, that's not what we need this season.

Well if Nixon is correct it's basocally a done deal.
