Well of course you're right. There's a lot we still don't know in terms of how the team will gel on and off the pitch and if Koeman is a good manager, etc. We can only wait and see.
But it's at least very encouraging that money was spent and the team on paper looks decent. Which should allay some of the fears about asset stripping, etc. And because of all the changes in the backroom, it's unknown how well the team would have performed without MP. It's potentially to our advantage that Koeman has been given the chance to assemble a team that he likes.
There's a big risk any time a club go through as many changes in a season as we have. But I'm pretty excited that despite the odds, I'm pleased with the results of the transfer window.
